Bio

Kelsey Perreault
Ph.D. Candidate
BA, MA Art History

Welcome to my website! My name is Kelsey and I am a 28-year-old Ph.D candidate living in Ottawa, Canada. I am a queer feminist artist, writer, and academic. I hold a BA and MA in Art History from Western University, but I got my start as a fine arts major on the East Coast. My current research is situated at the intersections of human rights, activism, museums, contemporary art, heritage, and memory studies. I am a founding member of the Culture and Crisis Collective, a small group of Carleton scholars committed to exploring and teaching about the role of expressive culture as it responds to  contemporary social crises.
